The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 £ per year.

We are seeking an exceptional and organized ACP to join our dedicated Specialist Palliative care team at Rainbows Childrens Hospice. You will provide advanced clinical expertise, contribute to symptom management, lead on end-of-life care, and work closely with families to ensure the best quality of care for babies, children, and young people.

Location: Based at the Hospice in Loughborough, you will travel across the East Midlands covering Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, and Lincolnshire.

Hours: Hours of work are between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, on a rota covering 7 days a week. An on-call rota will also be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced clinical expertise and contribute to symptom management.
  • Lead on end-of-life care and work closely with families.
  • Support the Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner in managing, leading, and introducing new services within the Hospice.
  • Lead and manage a team of CNSs and unregistered professionals.
  • Be responsible for the daily care of babies, children, and young people resident in the Hospice and those receiving end-of-life care within hospitals and community across the East Midlands.

About The Service: We provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 babies, children, and young people living with life‑shortening and life‑threatening conditions, and to approximately 3,000 people including families, siblings, and carers across the East Midlands.
