Job Summary

Assist the Resident Engineer by supervising and inspecting architectural works on site, ensuring quality compliance and timely coordination to deliver construction projects that meet contract specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor the quality of architectural finishing materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with project standards
• Supervise and coordinate architectural works on site, applying professional skill, care, and diligence to fulfill contract requirements
• Ensure contractors submit shop drawings, technical submittals, and material samples on schedule to maintain project timelines
• Oversee execution of construction works by contractors, verifying adherence to contract specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• Collaborate with the Resident Engineer to support effective site supervision and project delivery
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare project updates and reports that inform stakeholders of progress and issues
• Apply knowledge of local construction practices, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance throughout project execution
• Communicate effectively with project teams and contractors to facilitate smooth coordination and problem resolution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in site supervision for healthcare, residential, or institutional building projects
• ITC (Higher NITEC/NTC-2 NITEC) equivalent or higher in Architecture, Building Services, Engineering, or related disciplines from a recognized institution
• Demonstrated teamwork skills in assisting Resident Engineers with supervision of works
