Overview
Rainbow Smiles is Children’s Day Nursery, which has all the latest facilities to provide a high level of Childcare. This has not gone unnoticed within the Local Community, where we have already obtained a good reputation. A large part of our success is also based on the dedication and effort of our staff in providing a high level of care. As such we do value our team and understand that this is a two way relationship, where we actively promote Staff Development in order that they can grow to their full potential, whilst also supporting them by ensuring that they have all the necessary equipment in which to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team. As a Nursery Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our children, staff, and visitors. Your duties will include cleaning and sanitising classrooms, play areas, bathrooms, and other common spaces, as well as ensuring the safe storage and handling of cleaning supplies.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, play areas, and bathrooms regularly.
- Ensure high hygiene standards are maintained throughout the nursery.
- Empty bins, vacuum, dust, and mop floors as needed.
- Clean and disinfect toys and equipment to ensure safety for children.
- Follow health and safety guidelines in the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Nursery Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Must be trustworthy and reliable.
