We are a family‑owned and run business specialising in recycling and manufacturing plastic materials, and we’re on the lookout for a motivated Production Operative to join our team. You must have a minimum of 1 year counterbalance experience to apply for this role.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment in the production process.
- Assist in the recycling and manufacturing of plastic materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure standards are met.
- Operate a counterbalance fork truck safely and efficiently.
Counterbalance forklift experience is essential; experience of running the machines is not essential as training will be provided. The correct applicant must be willing and eager to learn and be able to deal with high‑pressure working. A background in engineering will be a bonus but not essential. 40 hours per week, full time positions available. Shifts rotate between (6am - 2pm) and afternoons (2pm - 10pm). You must hold a Full UK driving Licence as there will be requirements to drive the service van to obtain parts from local suppliers when required.
