About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you\'ll be working in the community, supporting clients with personal care and daily living tasks. You\'ll help promote their independence, dignity, and well-being, enabling them to live safely and comfortably at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Assist with medication
- Perform light housekeeping (e.g. cleaning, changing bed linen)
- Safely lift, reposition, and transfer clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients\' health or well-being
- Support with community access and encourage social activities
- Offer companionship through sitting services
