Care Assistant – Domiciliary Care

Location: Borough of Newham
Salary: £13.85 per hour

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you\'ll be working in the community, supporting clients with personal care and daily living tasks. You\'ll help promote their independence, dignity, and well-being, enabling them to live safely and comfortably at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting
  • Assist with medication
  • Perform light housekeeping (e.g. cleaning, changing bed linen)
  • Safely lift, reposition, and transfer clients
  • Accompany clients to appointments or outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients\' health or well-being
  • Support with community access and encourage social activities
  • Offer companionship through sitting services
