Rainbow calls all experienced and newly qualified social workers to join the Ofsted Outstanding Team Rainbow in North-West London! Our team of foster carers in London is expanding rapidly, and we are on track to recruit around 50 new foster carers this year. To support this growth, we need more experienced supervising social workers at our HQ office in London. Additionally, we are welcoming newly qualified social workers to join our Ofsted Outstanding fostering agency. Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Supervising Social Worker at Rainbow Fostering Services Ltd. The Supervising Social Worker will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including:

  • Assessing and monitoring foster carers
  • Providing support to foster families
  • Conducting home visits
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the well-being of the children in care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Attending meetings

Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Work or a relevant field and Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience in working with vulnerable children and fostering services
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, National Minimum Standards and Fostering Regulations Act
  • Excellent assessment and report-writing skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of individuals and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Driving Licence is essential
