We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to lead and manage a 9 place room in our Langdon Road nursery. This is a great opportunity for an established room leader looking for a new challenge, or an Early Years educator looking to progress in their career and step into a leadership position.

Our safeguarding system is underpinned by a range of policies and procedures which encourage and promote safe working practice across the organisation. We make sure that all our staff are trained and supervised to a high standard so they can provide safe, effective practice.
Skills and knowledge:- Ability to provide and maintain a high quality, stimulating learning environment.
- To plan and prepare purposeful learning opportunities using a range of creative approaches which foster curiosity both indoors and out.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and support the team around you.
- Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- To assist in the development and support of other staff members by communicating effectively, sharing knowledge, experience and delegating tasks appropriately.
- To co-operate and work effectively with the manager, taking on additional responsibilities/duties where necessary and positively promoting developments in policies and procedures to team members.

Requirements:- A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare for a minimum of 2 years.
- Experience of working with under 2’s.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- A secure understanding of the EYFS and development matters.
- An enthusiastic, positive and proactive attitude to work.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in partnership with parents.
- Comply with all Rainbow Day Nurseries’ policies and procedures.
- To participate in training and other learning activities/meetings as required.
- Hold an appropriate first aid qualification or be willing to undertake one.
