We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and caring practitioners to work in our West Wickham branch.

Our Nursery Practitioner will be expected to support the staff team with the planning, observation and assessment .

You will assist in providing stimulating and varied inclusive learning opportunities for all, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Skills and knowledge

  • Ability to provide and maintain a high quality, stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
  • To plan and prepare purposeful learning opportunities using a range of creative approaches which foster curiosity.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team, sharing experience and knowledge.
  • Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS and experience of working with children within the early years.
  • Private Health insurance with Benenden.

Requirements

  • A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
  • An enthusiastic, positive and proactive attitude to work.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work in partnership with parents.
  • Comply with all Rainbow Day Nurseries’ policies and procedures.
  • To participate in training and other learning activities/meetings as required.
  • Hold an appropriate first aid qualification or be willing to undertake one.
  • DBS Clearance
