We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 0.2 FTE Volunteer Coordinator. Working to a Team Leader to support the Trustees to achieve the Charity's aims, objectives and KPIs to provide community and care member services and events, including developing the charity's services and increasing diversity. This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for supporting volunteers, ensuring services are safe and effective, and helping to build strong partnerships.
You will have successful experience of managing and supporting volunteers within the charity or voluntary sector, an understanding of safeguarding, data protection, health & safety, together with an understanding and passion for making a positive difference in the LGBT+ community.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Screening, recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers
- Supporting and developing services
- Supporting safeguarding, health & safety and data protection
- A strong commitment to Equality, Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI)
