We are seeking an operative to work in our busy pet crematorium.
Responsibilities
- Collection from private homes and veterinary practices of sadly deceased pets.
- Further cremation of pets at our facility in Great Yarmouth.
- Ensure all pets are treated with utmost dignity and respect, acknowledging their status as family members.
- Perform collections in a company vehicle as part of the role; a full UK driving licence is required.
- Be added to the On Call Rota (1 in 3 weeks) as an additional paid duty; may be called out of hours for extra payment.
- Work alternate Saturdays (9 ‑ 1 pm) as overtime hours on top of the 40‑hour basic pay.
- Be available for early starts on Monday and Thursday; these are overtime hours.
- Provide on‑call cover and weekend working when other staff are on holiday.
- Expect late finishes to meet customer requirements.
Additional Information
Full training will be provided.
Rainbow Bridge operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
The role includes 20 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays). On call cover and weekend working will also be required during other staff holidays.
