An excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Systems and Data Specialist to work within our Finance team based in Darlington on FTC basis (12 months). This is an exciting time to join the team and support the continuous improvement and transformation of the Finance function.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration of key IT systems, ensuring robust controls are in place for user access and security.
- Be hands-on in supporting system setup and maintenance tasks.
- Play a key role in Finance system and data related implementations and upgrades.
- Assist with monitoring timelines and deliverables.
- Support users through the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of developments.
- Help craft test cases and monitor the resolution of bugs and issues.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with and supporting others to implement and use a range of IT systems.
- Effective troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to produce high-quality support documentation to enable users to resolve common queries.
- Detail-orientated in approach to working with data; apply best practice when inputting, cleansing and interpreting data.
- Proactive, organized and able to plan work to meet deadlines with a positive can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in a Finance function is not essential; applications from all backgrounds are welcome.
- Ability to work collaboratively with wider Finance and central IT teams to support technology projects and improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to support delivery of system training.
- Experience with SunSystems, Q&A, Sharepoint, Power BI and/or Workday would be advantageous but not essential.
