Are you passionate about driving change, improving processes and bringing structure to complex programmes of work? We’re looking for a highly organised and analytical Change & Transformation Office Analyst to play a key role in ensuring our projects deliver real value. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of transformation, collaborating with senior stakeholders and influencing how change is delivered across the organisation.

Railpen is responsible for the safekeeping and investment of around £34 billion in assets and the administration of several pension schemes, including the Railways Pension Scheme, one of the UK's largest and longest established pension funds. Our heritage of looking after the pension needs of the rail industry and its employees gives us our name and our unique outlook on how we serve our members. Railpen takes a holistic view, focusing on how we serve members today and how we can positively impact the communities and the world they will retire into.

In this role, you will be a key member of the Change & Transformation Office, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects. You will bring rigour to governance, challenge delivery teams where needed, and ensure consistent standards are applied across all initiatives. Working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders, you will provide insights through data analysis, support effective reporting, and identify risks and opportunities early. You will also play an important role in improving processes, strengthening project controls, and helping embed best practice across the organisation.

With experience in PMO or change environments, you understand project governance, reporting and risk management. You are highly organised, comfortable working with data, and able to translate complex information into clear insights. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, and experience within financial services or pensions would be beneficial.

A competitive salary depending on experience, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a generous annual bonus plan. We provide membership of the Railways Pension Scheme, offering a pension for life and a lump sum on retirement, alongside 4x life assurance cover. We also support your wellbeing through private medical insurance, employee assistance programmes and flexible working options including hybrid working and generous family leave.
