The role

As the Change Lead within the Investments Application Support team, you will play a pivotal role in driving and coordinating change initiatives across a range of projects, IT4IT programmes, and small-to-medium enhancements delivered through TAP (Technology Assurance Process). Your primary focus will be on safeguarding and enhancing the stability of our day-to-day operations (BAU), ensuring seamless continuity as we evolve our systems and processes. Acting as a vital link between Investments Application Support, Change, Delivery, and the Pensions Investment Management (PIM) Business, you will oversee the prioritisation, governance, and safe delivery of all change activities. Familiarity with scripting languages including PowerShell and Python will set you apart, as will experience working with Investment Order Management and Data Platforms and interaction with Market Data providers. The ideal candidate will be energised by the prospect of shaping and optimising how we deliver change, ensuring seamless system evolution without compromising day-to-day operational stability. Your technical insight, combined with a practical and collaborative approach, will empower you to drive enhancements that support the Pensions Investment Management business and deliver tangible value for our members.

This is a unique role, where you will have the autonomy and influence to bring a new lease of energy and direction to the business, building on what we currently have with a vision for continuous improvement. You will have the ability to visualise, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts applying logical thinking. Your communication style will be open, measured, whilst being considerate of the audience. You will build credible relationships based on trust, commitment and value adding output, operating at all times in a way that is agile, focused and purpose led. Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others. They’re what we stand for.
