We’re looking for a Real Estate Fund Accountant to join our Fund Operations team on a permanent basis in a hybrid role based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the delivery of regular financial reporting and technical support to Railpen’s Investment team.
  • Provide effective oversight of external third‑party service providers.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of UK real‑estate accounting.
  • Qualified accountant with a recognised institute such as ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables, look‑ups and building data‑driven models.
  • Knowledge of UK structuring vehicles – General Partner Limited Companies, Limited Partnerships, Jersey Property Unit Trusts, and Exempt Unauthorised Unit Trusts; knowledge of additional vehicle types is advantageous.
  • Proactive, highly motivated, organised, able to flex priorities when business needs shift.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills to interpret complex data, constructively challenge and provide clarity to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate accountability, and embody our core values.
