We are looking for a talented People Systems Analyst (Workday) to join our People team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Workday specialist who is passionate about HR technology, system optimisation, data integrity, and delivering an exceptional user experience. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will act as the in-house technical expert for Workday, supporting the ongoing development, enhancement, and optimisation of our people systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring Workday continues to deliver value across the business through effective support, reporting, process improvement, and system governance.

As the People Systems Analyst, you will serve as the in-house Workday expert, supporting both the People Team and wider business. You'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Workday functionality, supporting users, developing reporting capabilities, and ensuring robust system governance and data management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a Tier 2 support contact for Workday queries, managing and triaging issues through the service desk process.
  • Partnering with People Team process owners and business stakeholders to identify, scope and deliver system improvements and enhancements.
  • Managing and prioritising the Workday continuous improvement backlog and leading implementation activities for approved changes.
  • Developing, maintaining and enhancing Workday reports, dashboards and People MI reporting solutions.
  • Acting as a custodian of People data and supporting system security and data governance activities.
  • Serving as the technical Workday process expert, supporting users and process owners across the organisation.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify training needs and support the development of training materials and guidance.
  • Maintaining process documentation and supporting business blueprint updates.
  • Supporting Workday releases and upgrades through impact assessments, testing, documentation updates and stakeholder communications.
  • Contributing to the longer-term Workday roadmap by identifying opportunities to improve functionality, processes and user experience.

We're looking for someone who combines strong Workday technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. You will also bring:

  • Proven experience working as a Workday Analyst.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Workday configuration, administration and support.
  • Experience managing and prioritising system enhancement requests and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards and people analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and how technology can support and improve them.
  • Experience supporting Workday releases, upgrades and change management activities.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security and GDPR best practices within HR systems.
  • Experience working with service desk ticketing processes and issue resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across both HR and the wider business.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
