About the role

As Sales Manager at Railor, you’ll be the first dedicated sales hire, which means you’re not stepping into a playbook, you’re writing one. You’ll own new business end-to-end: identifying the right prospects, running the conversations, and closing deals with mid-market companies that need real financial infrastructure to operate globally.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle – from first outreach to signed contract
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across target verticals (e-commerce, fintechs, iGaming, Professional Services, etc)
  • Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise prospects
  • Run discovery calls and product demos tailored to each prospect’s use case
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to ensure a smooth handoff and strong client onboarding
  • Work closely with Marketing to align on messaging, ICP, and lead generation campaigns
  • Represent Railor at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on pipeline health, forecasts, and conversion metrics

Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B sales, preferably in fintech, payments, banking, or EMI/PSP environments
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of payment infrastructure – IBANs, FX, or card programmes
  • Consultative selling skills – able to map complex financial products to real business problems
  • Comfortable working independently and building process from the ground up
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to founders and financial executives
  • Familiarity with KYB/KYC compliance processes and how they affect sales cycles
  • Network in e-commerce, fintech or iGaming
  • Background in early-stage or high-growth fintech environments

You’ll Fit In If You

  • Pick up the phone without being asked
  • Know the difference between a feature and a business outcome – and sell the outcome
  • Move fast without waiting for a perfect playbook

What We Offer

  • Ownership from day one. You’ll build the sales function, not inherit a script.
  • Deep domain expertise around you. A team that knows B2B finance inside out – and closes with it.
  • Competitive base + uncapped commission. Early stage means real upside.
  • Grow with the company. The ceiling here is high.
