A permanent vacancy has arisen for the post of Recruitment, Retention and Organising Support Officer in Scotland. Within the Recruitment, Retention and Organising Department and based in our Glasgow office, you will contribute to the delivery of the Union's recruitment, retention and organising strategy to facilitate a member-led approach to union organising and co-ordinate, facilitate and guide cross-departmental teams in their support of recruitment, retention and organising projects.
To succeed in this new role you will need:
- Demonstrable experience of managing, delivering and evaluating recruitment, retention and organising projects
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of legal matters relating to trade union organising including information rights and recognition agreements
- Extensive experience of project management/co-ordination and trade union organising
- Ability to analyse and use complex information effectively
- Extensive administrative experience within a membership-based organisation
- Excellent member service skills and team working skills
- Demonstrable data analysis skills, and extensive experience of using data to inform decision-making
