About the Role
- Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), working closely with the Headteacher and DSL.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families, particularly those who are hardest to reach.
- Provide early intervention and tailored support for families experiencing challenges such as financial hardship, domestic violence, and mental health concerns.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for children, supporting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
- Work closely with the SENCo and external agencies to support children with additional needs.
- Improve attendance and signpost families to appropriate services.
The successful applicant will be:

- Experienced in safeguarding, child protection, and multi-agency working.
- Confident in supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
