RAFIAS – Who are we
Rafias is a small print and design agency based in Southeast London (Orpington). We have a broad range of clients from blue chips to one-man-band local businesses and provide Graphic Design and Printed material and Exhibition collateral and Signage.

We\’re part of a national franchise who are responsible for the majority of our print and signage production although we also have a small in-house Print Reprographics Studio that produces high quality printed collateral for our customers.

JOB SUMMARY
An experienced energetic and enthusiastic individual is urgently needed to help grow our small but busy digital printing and Packing Department. This is an ideal opportunity for a parent looking to work in between school hours.

The role will involve –

• Processing orders
• Edit/finalise artwork to ensure files are suitable for print
• Operate our Digital Printing Press & Finishing equipment (Training Provided)
• Digital printing of Flyers, Posters, Business cards, Booklets etc
• Packing goods to be despatched and organise/co-ordinate couriers
• Manage/Control consumable stock levels and orders from suppliers
• Help manage our digital print production workflow
• Help ensure schedules and deadlines are met
• Monitor and ensure quality assurance of all finished printed material
• Assist with customer service issues promptly and professionally

Please note that this role can involve some heavy lifting of paper

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will have –

• Experienced knowledge of using and Apple Mac
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop)
• Great people skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• A keen eye and attention to detail
• A strong work ethic and organisational skills
• A common-sense approach to tasks
• Has a \”Can Do\” attitude
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
• The ability to work independently
• Be able to multi-task
• Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
• A driving license is an advantage but not essential
• Fluent in English is essential (Written / Spoken)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Orpington, BR5 4AD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• This role will be split between working remotely and working on site in our Orpington Studio to help with print production and therefore you must reside within a reasonably close proximity to our location in Orpington, Bromley. Can you confirm you are within a 30 minute commute of our location?

• GCSE or equivalent (required)
