Marketing and Communications Coordinator – London
The Raffles London is a flagship hotel and residential collection located in the iconic Old War Office building.
As part of a 120‑room hotel and 85 branded residences, the hotel also features 12 restaurants and bars, including a signature chef Mauro Colagreco, a Guerlain spa, Pillar Wellness, a 600‑seated grand ballroom, and a full range of F&B outlets.
You will support the Marketing and Communications team in building the brand’s image, reputation, and commercial performance.
The department works closely with sales, events, rooms division, wellbeing and spa, F&B, ecommerce, and external partners to maximize opportunities for revenue and hospitality excellence.
Working with the Director of Communications, Senior Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, you will develop campaigns that excite, engage, inform and drive business.
- Scope of Position
- Oversee planning and booking of media experiences for journalists and influencers, including hotel stays, dining, bar visits, spa experiences and site visits.
- Champion and maintain brand standards across hotel communications, including signage, menus and flyers.
- Assist in coordinating professional video and photography shoots (e. g., influencer, media and fashion shoots).
- Update content on brand. com, Accor image library, partner websites, and the in‑house tablet platform Digivalet.
- Manage the Raffles London image library.
- Coordinate partnership marketing activities with the Senior Marketing Manager.
- Support the marketing department with administrative tasks, such as creating purchase orders, invoicing and raising complimentary forms in internal finance systems.
- Assist in creating brochures, flyers and other digital collateral using Adobe Creative Suite and updating hotel collateral as directed by Raffles HQ.
- Generate social media content ideas to highlight hotel services and products.
- Develop skills in creating and editing content in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Prepare marketing reports as requested.
- Ensure all files are stored appropriately on Share Point.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in Marketing and/or Communications.
- Understanding of luxury brands and the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and In Design particularly).
- Basic understanding of key global press publications, key UK and US influencers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Experience using CMS software; Adobe Experience Manager is preferred.
- Good understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In).
- Excellent verbal and written English.
