Join the Food & Beverage Department at Raffles London at The OWO. Reporting to the In‑Room Dining Supervisor, you will prepare orders, set trays, deliver items to guest rooms, assist with the Mini bar, amenities and maintain high‑quality service as per the Hotel Standard Operating Procedure. You will also keep work and guest areas clean and serve food courses and beverages to guests.
Responsibilities
- Set tables and trays according to the type of food ordered and hotel service standards.
- Perform opening and closing procedures established for the department.
- Accurately record, pre‑check and pick‑up all food and beverage orders.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
- Present a physical and accurate check to guests and complete the payment process.
- Have full knowledge of the food & beverage items & their specifications, menu prices, recipes, style of service and other preferences, and recommend food & beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.
- Confirm guest satisfaction of the meal.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, chinaware, glassware, etc., throughout the day.
- Ensure communication between Kitchen, Order Taker and service team members.
- Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage.
- Operate the hotel’s point‑of‑sales (POS) system, other order‑taking systems or handheld devices, and inventory software.
- Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or requested.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Recent experience within in‑room dining or a similar role.
- Market knowledge of competitors and event industry trends.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English, both verbal and written.
