A Chef de Rang opportunity presents itself at Mauro Colagreco's Restaurants in Raffles London at The OWO. Reporting to the Head Waiter, you will be responsible for the day-to-day service of the restaurant, ensuring outstanding guest service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting positive colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect, and continuous feedback.
  • Being an effective communicator, adhering to legal/statutory responsibilities and Company Policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the menu and all products.
  • Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately.
  • Acting as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
  • Assisting the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins.
  • Explaining the dishes to clients in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
  • Checking in with customers and taking additional orders or refilling water as needed.
  • Serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils.
  • Ensuring food is served in accordance with safety standards.
  • Informing restaurant staff about customer feedback or requests.
  • Understanding and communicating the concept of the restaurant through the service of the dishes.
  • Committing to the best possible sustainable practices daily in terms of waste management and purchasing.
  • Performing other duties as required or assigned, including working in a different department or restaurant than usually assigned.
