An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Lobby Ambassador to join the Raffles London at the OWO. You will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming guest experience within the Grand Lobby. This role requires a confident, courteous and warm manner toward building strong relationships with our guests while being predominantly based in our Grand Lobby. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, ultra‑luxury environment and is committed to delivering exceptional first impressions and service at all times.
Responsibilities
- Building meaningful relationships with our guests, while creating a sense of place in our Grand Lobby.
- Providing a professional, courteous and engaging service to guests whilst maintaining LQA and Forbes standards at all times.
- Taking a proactive approach to assisting guests with enquiries and directing concerns to the appropriate department when required.
- Assisting guests with requests and ensuring a seamless and personalised experience throughout their time at the hotel.
- Maintaining excellent organisation and professionalism in all daily responsibilities.
- Performance of additional duties as required or assigned including working in different departments than usually assigned.
Qualifications
- A genuine and captivating personality, with a true passion for guest service and creating memorable first impressions.
- A confident approach to building new relationships with guests.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- A strong team player with a hands‑on and proactive approach.
- A willingness to learn about the hotel and its history and confidently share this knowledge with guests.
- The ability to multitask whilst maintaining a polished and professional appearance in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
- An understanding of and willingness to contribute to a 24‑hour operational schedule when required; however, this role will not include night coverage as standard.
