The Role
You’ll receive full tech training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the technical landscape of the business seamlessly. You’ll play a key role in the day to day operations, providing administrative support to the Business Development Manager whilst they are out on the road engaging with customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing sales orders
- Preparing quotations
- Providing order updates
- Coordinating with internal departments
- Delivering first-class customer service

Duties
- Managing customer enquiries promptly via telephone and email
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs and potential challenges
- Providing accurate information regarding products and services
- Preparing and submitting quotations to meet customer deadlines
- Entering sales orders onto the system, organising sales information clearly and concisely
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through follow-up communication
- Addressing customer concerns and escalating issues when necessary
- Maintaining an accurate CRM system, updating customer details and ongoing activity
- Supplying essential data and reports to enhance sales team productivity, contributing to sales key performance indicators
- Supporting the Business Development Manager and wider teams with daily tasks of administration; organising documents and appointments
The Person
The ideal candidate would be someone with an interest in technology and experience working in similar commercial sales support roles. Strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills are a must. Candidates must be confident solving problems, managing their own workload, answering telephone calls and regularly communicating with clients via phone and email. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is also required.
