Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and looking for a role where no two days are the same?

Based at the company's head office in Portsmouth, you'll become the go-to person for customer service, working alongside specialist teams including Sales, Projects, Technical Support and Engineering to ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience.

This isn't a call centre environment.

Instead, you'll work as part of a close-knit office team, taking ownership of customer enquiries from start to finish and building genuine relationships with clients.

You'll quickly become an integral part of the business, working with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.

It's a varied, fast-paced role where every day is different, giving you the opportunity to gain a real understanding of how the business operates.

One of the best things about this opportunity is the long-term career potential.

Many people have started in this role and gone on to progress into other departments because it provides such a broad understanding of the business and how it operates.

If you're looking for a company where you can build a career rather than simply find your next job, this is a fantastic place to start.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing professional support over the phone and via email while ensuring every interaction is handled efficiently and with care.

You'll play a key role in coordinating service requests, maintaining accurate records and building strong, lasting customer relationships.

  • Providing outstanding customer service via telephone and email.
  • Logging and updating customer enquiries on the CRM system.
  • Coordinating service requests and bookings for field service engineers.
  • Onboarding new customers and ensuring a smooth customer journey.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Building strong customer relationships through excellent communication.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce customers to additional services where appropriate.
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative duties as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and has previous customer service experience.

You'll be organised, proactive and confident communicating with customers, with the ability to stay calm and professional in a busy environment.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience within a technology environment would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive salary, depending on experience.
  • A modern, friendly and supportive office environment.
  • Monday to Friday working hours with an earlier finish on Fridays.
  • The opportunity to join a growing technology business.
  • Genuine career progression and development opportunities.
  • A role where you'll learn about every aspect of the business while making a real impact from day one.
