An established and fast-growing AV systems integration business is seeking an AV Support Engineer to join its expanding Service department in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AV engineer who wants more than just reactive service work. The department is growing, and this role offers genuine scope to influence processes, support junior engineers, and progress into leadership as the team develops.
The business delivers high-quality AV solutions across corporate, healthcare, hospitality, retail and commercial environments, with projects ranging from bespoke installations to large-scale rollouts.
The Role
- You will be a key point of contact for clients requiring technical AV support, taking ownership of fault-finding, maintenance visits, and system optimisation across multiple commercial contracts.
- This position sits at the core of a developing service division, offering the opportunity to contribute to the structure, standards and growth of the department.
- Diagnosing and resolving AV system issues (audio, video, control and networking).
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance visits and producing detailed service reports.
- Liaising with manufacturers and distributors on escalated technical issues.
- Providing professional, client-facing support and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Feeding back site insights to design and engineering teams.
- Supporting the development of service processes and documentation.
- Contributing to service contract growth and renewals.
- Mentoring junior engineers as the team expands.

The Person
- You will be an experienced AV Support Engineer or Field Service Engineer with strong technical fault-finding skills and a professional, client-focused approach.
- Proven experience troubleshooting commercial AV systems.
- Strong understanding of AV/IT integration and networking.
- Experience with QSYS and Shure management platforms.
- Familiarity with Teams, Zoom and Webex environments.
- Experience with hardware including Logitech, Yealink, Poly and Cisco.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Greater London based with full UK working rights.
- Desirable: CTS, Dante or other manufacturer accreditations.
- Familiarity with BSS, Crestron, Extron and Dante.
