About the Role
You will be responsible for bringing newly installed AV systems to life, making sure everything functions smoothly, meets the project brief, and is handed over professionally to the client. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Setting up, testing, and fine-tuning AV and video-conferencing systems.
- Checking installations, identifying issues, and coordinating fixes with the wider team.
- Carrying out configuration work both on site and at the workshop.
- Working alongside programmers to ensure control interfaces and DSP settings meet requirements.
- Reviewing drawings and documentation and updating technical records after commissioning.
- Supporting clients and providing guidance during system handover and training.
- Assisting with occasional maintenance or follow-up visits after project completion.
What You Will Bring
- Experience commissioning AV systems in commercial environments.
- Strong understanding of audio/video signal flow and general networking principles.
- Confidence troubleshooting technical issues.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working with installers, PMs, and clients.
