We are recruiting an Audio Visual Engineer on behalf of a growing and well-organised AV business known for its strong team culture and genuine commitment to work–life balance. This role is field-based across London and the South East. Candidates will ideally be located within or around the M25 to support coverage across the region, including areas such as Luton, Southend-on-Sea, Brighton, and Dover. Overnight stays will occasionally be necessary, but all work is carefully planned well in advance. Engineers typically have visibility of their schedules up to eight weeks ahead, allowing for proper planning and a far healthier work–life balance than is often seen in the AV industry.
The Role: You will be part of a close-knit engineering team delivering high-quality AV installations and support across a range of client projects. The business is structured, organised, and realistic in its planning, avoiding last-minute changes wherever possible. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of AV systems on customer sites across the Midlands and wider UK
- Working to clearly defined project schedules and installation plans

The Person:
- Proven experience working as an AV Engineer delivering high-quality installations and on-site support
- Strong hands-on technical knowledge across AV systems including audio, video, control, and display technologies
- Comfortable working across the Midlands with regular travel across the UK when projects require
- Flexible to stay away overnight when necessary
- Professional, reliable, and well-organised, with the ability to work to structured schedules and high standards
