We’re looking for an experienced AV Commissioning Engineer who’s ready to take the next step in their career and join a forward‑thinking technical team during a hugely exciting period of growth. The Role:
As an AV Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for bringing newly installed AV systems to life, ensuring they perform seamlessly, meet the project brief, and are handed over to the client with confidence and clarity.
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, testing, and fine‑tuning AV and video‑conferencing systems
- Inspecting installations, identifying technical issues, and coordinating resolutions
- Carrying out configuration work both on‑site and in the workshop
- Collaborating with programmers to ensure control systems and DSP settings align with requirements
- Reviewing drawings, schematics, and project documentation
- Updating technical records after commissioning
- Supporting clients during system handover and providing basic training
- Assisting with occasional maintenance or follow‑ups after project completion
The Person:
- Hands‑on commissioning experience in commercial AV environments
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow and core networking concepts
- Confident troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach
- Clear communication and the ability to work collaboratively with installers, PMs, and clients
- Enthusiasm for developing your technical knowledge
- Experience with DSPs or control platforms is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided
