About us:
RAFAKidz Cosford is a hugely popular nursery with a growing waiting list for families to come and join us. The setting has circa 28 colleagues who support up to 98 children. With 6 bespoke rooms (including an amazing sensory room), our little RAFAKidz family are always busy with picnics, parties and outdoor learning within our large outdoor areas, forest school and sensory garden. For every child that comes through the doors of RAFAKidz, no matter their ability, background or circumstances, we provide experiences that will help them be confident and reach their full potential.
About you:
As a qualified Early Years Educator you will hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification and have a sound knowledge of the responsibilities that go with the role. We need you to have a minimum of 1 year nursery experience and a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
A typical day in the role will involve:
- Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities
- Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements
- Designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children
- Work with Senco to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities
Requirements:
