As a Resettlement and Education Administrator in our Defence team, you will play a key role in supporting Service Leavers by providing guidance, administrative support and access to resettlement and education services. Your work will help individuals prepare for their next chapter with confidence and clarity, directly contributing to positive outcomes for those transitioning from military to civilian life. You will be part of a Learning Centre environment that focuses on personal growth and career development. By keeping information up to date, coordinating essential processes and enabling access to learning resources, you will help create a supportive space that empowers people at a pivotal moment in their lives.
What you will do:
- Act as the Point of Contact for resettlement activities for Service Leavers.
- Work closely with Regional Resettlement Centres and Career Transition Partnership colleagues.
- Deliver resettlement activities and advice in accordance with current procedures.
- Administer the Regional Resettlement Officer programme.
- Schedule and conduct briefs and interviews.
- Maintain records and process applications, including amendments and cancellations.
- Promote and advertise all current resettlement and education offerings, including those from training providers and Regional Resettlement Centres.
- Ensure Learning Centre displays and information materials are current.
- Process training applications and claims.
- Process learning credit and education refund claims accurately.
- Maintain financial records and prepare Learning Credit returns.
- Complete other reasonable tasks as directed by the Administration Manager.
- Actively promote Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities in line with station requirements.
- Able to achieve SC Clearance.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A customer-focused mindset.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
