About us

RAFAKidz Cosford is a hugely popular nursery with a growing waiting list for families to come and join us. The setting has circa 28 colleagues who support up to 98 children. With 6 bespoke rooms (including an amazing sensory room), our little RAFAKidz family are always busy with picnics, parties and outdoor learning within our large outdoor areas, forest school and sensory garden. For every child that comes through the doors of RAFAKidz, no matter their ability, background or circumstances, we provide experiences that will help them be confident and reach their full potential.

About the role

We have a position available for a part time Nursery Cleaner to join our friendly team. Whilst previous experience would be desirable, it is not essential. Our ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude, a cheerful personality, and a good eye for detail. Along with the usual cleaning responsibilities as you would expect with a role of this type, we need the post holder to have an awareness of Health and Safety as our children’s safety is paramount. We will provide training which will enable you to be vigilant with regards to cleaning products and equipment and enable you to identify and report any risks which may pose an injury to children and staff, for example broken play equipment, wobbly furniture etc.

This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter. As part of our inclusive culture, we encourage applications across all cultural backgrounds, genders and abilities.
