About us:
2025 was a phenomenal year for RAFAKidz! Our special awards include Nursery Group of the Year, Nursery World Medium Sized Nursery Group of the Year, National NMT Nursery Awards Outdoor Learning Environment, and National NMT Nursery Awards.
RAFAKidz Kinloss is our newest setting in our RAFAKidz family and opened in April 2026. Currently undergoing a complete refurbishment, circa 30 colleagues look after up to 100 children who are very excited about exploring our new extensive outdoors play areas! In addition, we also run a holiday club during summer and half term breaks. We have a range of full time and part time qualified practitioner roles available.
About you:
You can expect to be fully ‘hands on’ to create a stimulating and exciting nursery setting. Ideally you will be either an experienced Room Leader or a Qualified Practitioner ready for your next challenge. As well as the usual responsibilities that you would expect of this role, our Room Leaders are part of our management team and role models to other members of staff. You will encourage and motivate your colleagues to continually demonstrate best practices and support them in their learning journey towards their qualifications.
You will need to have a minimum of one year’s experience working at either a SCQF Level 7 or SVQ3 Children and Young People level, and be registered with SSSC and PVG Enhanced Disclosure Programme. We need you to have a minimum of 2 years nursery experience and a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
We pride ourselves on being an organisation that nurtures our nurseries and teams. With a brilliant range of nursery resources, you can be assured we will always provide you with the tools that you need to provide exceptional childcare for the local community.
