Our busiest events activities are during the spring and summer months attending air shows and RAF and aviation themed events. The role requires the ability to join the team in the office two days per week, plus flexibility to work weekends on occasions. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead innovative sales tactics to achieve the event season's annual financial targets.

  • Work within strict deadlines and cost parameters, achieving or exceeding event sales and profit targets.
  • Oversee permits, applications and health & safety compliance.
  • Manage cash handling pre and post‑show, liaising regularly with finance to organise floats and cash‑counting.
  • Manage and grow RAFATRAD’s shop‑in‑a‑box facility alongside the Sales Team.
  • Attend multiple events throughout the season (dates are flexible).
  • During the off‑season (October – March) perform further administrative duties within Sales and Marketing.

About you:

You will need relevant experience managing multiple events from planning through to execution, skills in marketing, communications or retail sales, a high level of IT proficiency for CRM systems, analysis and reporting, and previous line manager experience. You should be self‑motivated, proactive, results‑driven and a team player. A full UK driving licence is required as you may drive the events vans.
