Opening hours: 08:00‑18:00, all year round.

About Us

RAFAKidz is the proud winner of the Nursery Group of the Year 2025. We provide high-quality, affordable early years childcare and wrap-around services to the children of RAF personnel and the wider defence community. As a not‑for‑profit organisation, we reinvest surplus income to support the RAF community. Our newest setting in central London is one of 21 settings in the RAFAKidz family and opened in April. Based within an exclusive VIP establishment in the heart of Westminster, a few minutes walk from Westminster and Embankment tube stations, our colleagues can benefit from an onsite café and gym. Our staff of around 19 look after 38 children, and we are proud to remain fully staffed, ensuring children have fun and learn with us every day.

Role

We are looking for a talented, passionate and dedicated childcare professional to join our team. We provide a great induction experience, ongoing training, internal career development, and a supportive work environment. Your typical day will include:

  • Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements.
  • Key worker responsibilities for a group of children.
  • Working with the SENCO to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Successful, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter. Inclusive culture – applications welcomed from all cultural backgrounds, genders and abilities.
