The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the Group in delivering the organisation's growth and development agenda. The post holder will be championing Agile practices within the charity, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, and enabling continuous improvement. This role will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through the Scrum framework, managing project timelines, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Leading ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaboration with Product Owners to manage product backlog and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Removing impediments or blockers that are hindering the team's progress.
- Ensuring the team follows Scrum principles and practices.
- Shielding the team from external distractions and interruptions.
- Coaching the team on self-organising to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes productivity, creativity, and high performance.
- Collect and analyse project metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Requirements / Qualifications
- You will need to be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in Agile non-technical environments.
- Highly proficient in agile methodology, techniques and frameworks such as SCRUM or Kanban to drive effective solution delivery.
- You will have extensive knowledge of tracking and reporting key Agile metrics (velocity, burnout charts etc).
- You will have an ability to translate complex messaging clearly to a variety of stakeholders and thrive on building good working relationships.
- Some flexibility in your working hours is required to represent the Association at special events, and we offer time off in lieu for the occasions when you may have worked longer hours to deliver a project on time.
