Our RAFAKidz family creates experiences that are special, unique and child-focused. Our staff are specially selected for their loving and caring nature, as well as their expertise. We take extra care to meet the unique needs of military families.
As our Cook, you will have stamina, patience, creativity and imagination with great ideas to enhance mealtimes. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, preparation and serving of age-appropriate, nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks
- Catering for children’s individual dietary requirements and food allergies
- Ordering, control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock
- Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation
A minimum NVQ Level 2 in food hygiene is essential, along with excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency. You will also be required to obtain a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter.
