We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and efficient Messenger to work as part of our Central Services Team, based at Albyn Place. Ideally, we require a personable candidate with excellent local knowledge.

Duties will entail:

  • Sorting mail and stationery
  • Undertaking deliveries
  • Collection and drop off of mail from DX
  • Collecting and delivering files to and from various departments
  • Cash Room activities
  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Provide transportation and lifts, when required
  • Taking the firms motor vehicles for re-fuelling and car wash, when required
  • Any other adhoc duty as required

Location: Aberdeen

Hours: 10 hours per week as follows:

  • Week 1: Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 to 11h00
  • Week 2: Mondays to Fridays from 14h00 to 17h00
  • Week 3: Off

There is a specific requirement to cover your job share's holidays.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Messenger within a Legal / Estate Agency environment would be advantageous
  • A full, clean, manual drivers licence, recognised in the UK essential
  • The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a good work ethic and the ability to function well under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly
  • Some IT knowledge would be beneficial

Salary: Commensurate with experience
