We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, efficient, organised and personable Legal Secretary to work within our Banchory office. The role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a friendly team undertaking some of the following duties:

  • Provide secretarial support to solicitors.
  • Prepare and process legal documentation and forms, using databases where applicable.
  • Undertake audio and copy typing.
  • Diary management.
  • Communicate with clients and third parties.
  • Document management and filing.
  • Cash work and production of accounts and fees.
  • Carry out general administration and reception duties, and assist other Property Administrators with property enquiries, booking valuations, property 'take on’s' and viewings, as well as any other ad hoc duty as required.

Location: 75 High Street, Banchory

Hours: Full or Part Time hours available

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and above average typing skills.
  • Exceptional client relation and communication skills.
  • A good local knowledge and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to function well under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude.

Desirable:

  • An HND in Legal Services or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary.

Salary & Benefits:

The salary for this role is commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a generous annual leave entitlement, plus a day for your birthday, contributory pension, Raeburns Rewards and the option to join the Firm's Healthcare Provider.
