This is a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal to join a leading international law firm, renowned for its highly acclaimed and successful Litigation business. Working within the Catastrophic Injury team you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support leading litigation solicitors with enviable reputations who are without doubt at the top of their game. The firm is multi award winning with a modern and flexible working environment, the Partner is forward thinking and encouraging, and the team are collaborative and supportive.

The role will see you managing your own caseload of files as well as supporting fee earners working on more complex cases.

Typical duties:

  • Liaising with third parties, Counsel and medical experts
  • Preparing court bundles
  • Drafting letters of instruction, requests and Instructions to Counsel
  • Preparing briefing notes and action plans
  • Liaising with and meeting clients
  • Conducting research

Essential criteria:

  • Experience of working in an insurance litigation environment (around 1 year +)
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Ideally experience of working on catastrophic loss cases, however this is not essential
  • Pragmatic and organised approach with the ability to handle sensitive information and cases
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT ability
  • Team player
