The Role

As an advanced Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs down to component level on a wide range of industrial equipment including variable speed drives, PLCs, touchscreen HMIs and power supplies.

  • Diagnose and troubleshooting down to the component level using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
  • Working with and without the aid of schematics
  • Soldering and reworking components (SMD and thru-hole)
  • Creating and following test procedures.
  • Using problem solving skills to find a logical approach to testing and fault finding

About You

With excellent problem-solving skills, and with a desire to share you knowledge and learn new skills, furthermore, you will have:

  • Advanced experience working in a fault finding/troubleshooting environment
  • Knowledge of electronics theory and principles
  • Soldering experience
  • A logical approach to fault-finding
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
