The Role
As an advanced Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs down to component level on a wide range of industrial equipment including variable speed drives, PLCs, touchscreen HMIs and power supplies.
- Diagnose and troubleshooting down to the component level using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
- Working with and without the aid of schematics
- Soldering and reworking components (SMD and thru-hole)
- Creating and following test procedures.
- Using problem solving skills to find a logical approach to testing and fault finding
About You
With excellent problem-solving skills, and with a desire to share you knowledge and learn new skills, furthermore, you will have:
- Advanced experience working in a fault finding/troubleshooting environment
- Knowledge of electronics theory and principles
- Soldering experience
- A logical approach to fault-finding
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
