The Role:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will participate in all aspects of territory management and customer relationship management. Working in a proactive, organised, and motivated manner, you will provide an excellent level of service within your assigned territory, identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities to further expand your customer base.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing sales activities and customer interactions within your territory
- Identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue
- Monitoring market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy and decision-making
- Preparing reports, forecasts, and strategic input to support sales management decisions and future planning
About You:
Being highly organised and proactive, you will bring your previous sales or customer-facing experience to the role, allowing you to make the most of the in-depth product and sales training provided. Your collaborative approach and ability to manage your time effectively will help you build strong relationships and deliver results. Furthermore, you will have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, MS Teams)
- A valid UK Driver’s License
- Education to GCSE or equivalent level, English, Maths to Level 5/C+
- Familiarity with CRM or sales management software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
A background in or knowledge of industrial automation products is preferred but not essential. Additionally, if you speak any languages other than English at a fluent level, that would be advantageous to your application.
