As the business continues its ambitious growth across Europe, you will play a key role in scaling HR operations, building robust processes, and shaping a proactive HR function.
The Role
As HR Manager, you will partner with business leaders across multiple European countries to deliver strategic and operational HR support that drives performance and aligns with organisational goals. Working in a collaborative and commercially focused way, you will provide expert advice and develop and lead key people initiatives. You will take ownership of improving and standardising HR processes, ensuring they are scalable to support future business growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor on escalations relating to employment law, HR policy and employee relations matters
- Manage complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance and capability processes
- Support and deliver organisational change, including restructures and transformation projects
- Drive talent management and workforce planning, including senior recruitment and succession planning
- Use HR data and insights to inform decision‑making and improve outcomes
- Support learning and development initiatives to build leadership capability
- Lead HR projects and contribute to wider business transformation, including M&A activity
- Promote a positive, inclusive culture with a focus on engagement and wellbeing
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance HR operations, introducing consistency and best practice across multiple locations
About You
Being a commercially minded HR professional with strong generalist expertise, you will bring significant HR Manager or HR Business Partner experience gained within a multi‑site, multi‑country environment, with a clear focus on hands‑on delivery. You are confident operating at both a strategic and operational level, with the ability to translate business needs into practical HR solutions, while also scaling HR activities, implementing sustainable processes, and supporting a growing organisation through change and expansion.
Furthermore, you will have:
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with some exposure to European jurisdictions
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases end‑to‑end, including disciplinary, grievance and redundancy
- Experience supporting organisational change, including restructures and transformation projects
- Exposure to TUPE, M&A or HR due diligence activity
- Experience designing and delivering training and supporting L&D initiatives
- Confidence drafting employment documentation, including contracts and policies
- Strong data skills, with the ability to produce and interpret HR metrics
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative style, with experience supporting and developing others
- CIPD Level 7 – would be an advantage or a willingness to work towards
- Postgraduate qualification in HR, Employment Law, or Business
