  • Work closely with wholesalers, distributors, symbol groups and independent retail partners.
  • Use customer, category and market data to identify opportunities and inform your commercial strategy.
  • Keep a close eye on competitor activity, market trends and changing consumer behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Category, Finance and Logistics to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You'll be a confident relationship builder, commercially astute and highly organised, with the ability to operate strategically while still getting into the detail.

You'll bring energy, curiosity and a winning mentality, with the entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities, build new relationships and turn them into long-term partnerships.

You'll ideally have

  • At least 3 years' commercial management experience within the Convenience or Wholesale channel.

  • A strong understanding of the UK food and drink retail landscape, ideally with experience within FMCG manufacturing.
  • A strong understanding of the Account Manager/Buyer relationship, with the ability to build and sustain trusted, long-term relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your approach and influence a diverse range of audiences.
  • A natural ability to build relationships quickly, establish credibility and develop strong partnerships with customers.
  • Strong self-organisation and time-management skills, with a proven ability to prioritise competing business and customer objectives and consistently deliver work on time.
  • A growth mindset and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally with P&I, Category, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
  • An entrepreneurial approach, with the confidence and initiative to challenge the status quo, identify opportunities and build sustainable new relationships.
  • A genuine winning mentality, resilience and determination to deliver results in a fast-paced and competitive market.
