The role interacts regularly with internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Technical Support and R&D.

The candidate must be located within the territory, preferably between Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Our Company: Radleys was founded in 1966 by Bill Radley as a scientific glassblowing business. Nearly 60 years on, we remain a proud British manufacturer, still focused on what we do best, high quality scientific equipment for chemistry. We design and build precision laboratory systems in house, bringing together chemists, glassblowers and engineers with decades of practical experience. Our equipment is trusted by leading pharmaceutical, biopharma, chemical and academic organisations worldwide, a reputation earned through consistent quality, technical depth and long term thinking.

The Role: Reporting into the Global Sales Manager you will work closely with the UK Sales Manager to seek new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle, building and developing relationships, as well as identifying key accounts and contacts. This is a field sales role, where you will conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations and trainings so overnight stays may be necessary. You will maintain accurate records in Salesforce, follow system processes and utilise the system to support sales development. Experience and capability: You will have an educational background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or in a related field and a familiarity with products within process and organic chemistry fields. You will have knowledge of Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma and Research organisations and be confident working in CRM systems and with the Microsoft Office suite. Experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets, and a full UK driving license, are essential.

The type of person who will succeed here: We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated, well-organised and resilient sales professionals with a keen eye for attention to detail. You will need to be a team player who is capable of making decisions and liaising with colleagues at all levels.
