Each design is then responsibly made by our family-run manufacturing partners, in the expert hands of three generations of artisan craftspeople.

As Technical Assistant you will provide essential administrative support to the Technical Product Developer and be responsible for contributing towards the smooth running of the critical path, sealing process and full product cycle.You will have a detailed focus to ensure all products received into the business are of the highest quality, supporting our renewed focus on elevation and commerciality, whilst reflecting the vision of the Design team.

Your role will be based in Milton Keynes DC but with travel to the London office where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with international suppliers you will be responsible for chasing, tracking and monitoring the status of sealing samples within the business for Technical Product Development. Organising sign offs, contributing to supplier calls and ensuring the sealing process has been completed with no delay to bulk intake. Including tracking and shipment of marketing samples to external photography company and organising, changing out and archiving of contract seals ready for bulk inspection.
  • Attending range review feedback with the Technical Product Developer in London office. Having a solid understanding of the current range ahead of Contract Seal sign off, including intended Design requirements.
  • Maintaining and monitoring a testing record to log external testing from our supply base in accordance with the requirements of the supplier manual.
  • Tracking, chasing and organising the Material Specification cards each season with our supply base. Assisting the Technical Product Developer with approval where appropriate. Ensuring all leathers MSS are available for reference against bulk intake, to ensure the agreed quality of our leather is reflected in bulk production.
  • Provide clear and effective support to both internal and external customers, addressing their needs and responding promptly.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, attention to detail is essential.
  • Familiarity with technical product development processes (experience in leather and handbags/accessories preferred).
  • Great time management skills, able to prioritise workload and communicate clearly on upcoming deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure.
  • Positive team player and proactive approach to working independently when required.
  • Communication: the ability to convey information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Microsoft 365 experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
