We are seeking a Senior Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team at Radley. The role is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end merchandising process, managing stock for retail and wholesale channels, and maximising revenue and profit across all product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define OTB parameters with the Head of Merchandising, including sales, margin, inventory, stock turn and year‑end inventory targets for all channels.
  • Development and ownership of global inventory management activities, including ownership of WSSI and long‑range merchandising financial plans, ensuring optimal inventory and productivity.
  • Quantify seasonal buy volumes alongside the Buying team to maximise sales and sell‑through.
  • Ownership of line cards on core options, placing reorders to ensure never out of stock.
  • Responsible for allocating and re‑balancing inventory to improve global sell‑through across all channels.
  • Accountable for promotions, delist and markdown planning and forecasting, in line with OTB targets, together with regulating discounts by product.
  • Responsible for option plans, measuring performance against plan for each season.
  • Accountable for the 4‑year product life‑cycle inventory strategy.
  • Communicate sales, inventory and margin forecasts to cross‑functional partners and the Senior Leadership Team, highlighting risks and opportunities and recommending in‑season/pre‑season actions.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team and Buying to prepare seasonal assortments.
  • Work closely with Partners on responsible inventory management in line with company and Partner targets.
  • Analyse order book performance vs plan, to ensure alignment with financial KPIs.
  • Coach and develop a team comprising a Junior/Assistant Merchandiser and an Allocator.
  • Provide clear and effective support to both internal and external customers, addressing their needs and responding promptly.
