Our London HQ is home to our in-house Design team, who are inspired by the natural world, luxurious fine leathers and the remarkable women who wear our bags. Each design is then responsibly made by our family-run manufacturing partners, in the expert hands of three generations of artisan craftspeople.
You will be responsible for writing engaging and creative copy across our marketing channels, in support of our vision and mission. You will be the brand guardian for the Radley tone of voice and responsible for delivering compelling product descriptions, ensuring consistency and best‑in‑class presentation across all channels, including wholesale market week copy.
Alongside product descriptions, you will contribute to brand storytelling, supporting content planning and helping develop fresh, topical ideas for blogs, emails, social media, and retail communications. You will coordinate with key stakeholders and departments, including E-commerce, Graphics, Merchandising, Design, Production, Social, PR, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Creative & Content Manager in seasonal content planning and strategy, ensuring that you deliver written content that meets Radley’s objectives, meeting regularly to review project and personal progress.
- Be a brand guardian for the Radley tone of voice across all marketing channels, ensuring that TOV and copy align with the brand’s elevation.
- Manage the product copy process, a significant part of this role. Ensuring it is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Support the Senior Copywriter in writing high‑quality, original copy for multiple channels including emails, social media, website, direct mail, and internal and corporate communications.
- Create engaging and SEO‑friendly content and blogs that support key brand pillars.
- Work closely with the Web and Social teams to keep content on‑brand and up‑to‑date.
- Work with commercial teams, online and in‑store, to ensure promotional copy supports business requirements.
- Edit and proofread all content to a high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Work in collaboration with the wider marketing and digital team on new campaigns and initiatives.
- Two years minimum copywriting experience, ideally within the retail, fashion, or lifestyle industry.
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates strong writing experience across multiple mediums and channels.
- Experience creating brand‑led storytelling content and conversational copy. You are a natural storyteller.
- A meticulous proofreader with excellent attention to detail and an exceptional command of the English language.
- Proven experience in SEO content writing.
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
- A positive, can‑do approach to creative problem solving.
- An ability to manage multiple projects and a heavy workload in a fast‑paced environment.
