Junior Merchandiser
This position is accountable for supporting with the end to end merchandising process, managing stock at a global level and maximising revenue and profit. This role is critical in driving product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and collaborating cross functionally to ensure the commercial success of our collections. This position leads by example, acting as an ambassador for Radley, fostering a culture of passion and determination, and driving excellence across the Merchandising organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and support with global inventory management activities alongside Senior Merchandiser, including use of WSSI and long range merchandising financial plans, ensuring optimal inventory and productivity
- Support on quantifying seasonal buy volumes to maximise sales and sell through
- Accountable for allocating and re-balancing inventory to improve global sell through across all channels
- Together with Senior Merchandiser, managing promotions, delist and markdown planning and forecasting, in line with OTB targets, together with reviewing discounts by product
- Assisting with option plans, measuring performance against plan for each season
- Responsible for reporting, and preparing insightful analyses on performance relative to plan and making recommendations to Senior Merchandiser
- Communicate sales, inventory and margin forecasts to Senior Merchandiser, highlighting risks and opportunities and recommending trade driving actions
- Maintaining and forecasting line cards on core options, proposing reorders to Senior Merchandiser to ensure never out of stock
- Acting as a mentor to an Allocator
- Provide clear and effective support to both internal and external customers, addressing their needs and responding promptly.
