At Radley Yeldar we help create a world that believes in business. For over 30 years, we’ve partnered with some of the world’s most interesting organisations to tell their stories simply and impactfully. The creative team plays a big part in building that belief for our clients. We do it by balancing insight with imagination — finding the big ideas and themes that bring inspiration to our work, while ensuring audiences are brought into a behaviour, a position or a message in meaningful and engaging ways. We’re equally focused on clarity and evidence. That means properly understanding the deep content and shaping information into compelling narratives and ensuring every piece of communication is as clear, logical and accessible as possible. We know how to combine this inspiration and evidence into powerful award-winning work that excites and informs in equal measure.
We're looking for smart, thoughtful and detail-oriented Senior Designers who combine exceptional craft with strong conceptual thinking and a passion for creative problem-solving. You’ll lead projects for major clients, working closely with strategists, client services and fellow creatives to deliver impactful work across annual and sustainability reporting, brand, campaigns, digital experiences and employee communications. We're looking for designers who love generating ideas, are comfortable working across channels, and are excited by the opportunity to grow client relationships, shape creative direction and deliver outstanding work.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design and delivery of annual reports and sustainability reports from concept through to publication.
- Design and contribute to corporate websites and online reporting experiences.
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, writers, developers and production teams to deliver quality creative solutions.
- Come up with, present and articulate creative ideas confidently to internal teams and clients.
- Follow RY’s creative process to produce work that is strategically strong, idea driven, beautifully crafted and effective in connecting with audiences.
- Maintain exceptional standards of typography, layout, storytelling and craft across all outputs.
- Successfully manage and deliver across multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across teams and disciplines.
- Support the continued growth and creative culture of the team through collaboration, feedback and shared learning.
- Help inspire and mentor junior members of the creative team.
- Contribute to creative excellence that strengthens both client relationships and RY’s reputation.
About you:
- You have extensive experience designing annual reports — this is essential.
- You’ve worked on sustainability or ESG reporting projects and understand the nuances of stakeholder communications.
- You’re an expert in editorial and information-led design with exceptional attention to detail.
- You’re confident working across both print and digital environments.
- You enjoy solving complex communication challenges through thoughtful, engaging design.
- You’re collaborative, proactive and comfortable working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- You have strong presentation and communication skills and can clearly articulate creative thinking.
- You’ll have solid proven agency or consultancy experience, ideally within corporate communications, or integrated communications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing annual reports, sustainability reports and corporate communications work.
- Conceptual thinking and strong idea generation skills.
- Experience designing for both online and offline channels.
- Strong knowledge of Figma is advantageous.
- Experience of designing for – and delivering through the Workiva platform.
- Excellent typography, editorial and layout design skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role – but we really value and would expect in-person studio interaction at key points on projects and on average, two days per week minimum. RY embraces diversity and equal opportunity. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.
